- חוֹבָהf. (חוּב) obligation, duty; (sub. קרבן) obligatory sacrifice, opp. נְדָבָה. Naz.II, 8 הרי אני נזיר ח׳ I am a Nazir by obligation (because the condition of my vow was fulfilled), opp. נזיר נדבה a voluntary nazarite without a conditional vow.
